Every day more and more of the magic of Walt Disney World continues to return. Pre-shows were once removed for physical distancing, but have recently returned to select attractions. Check out the newest pre-show that fans have been waiting for.
Pre-Shows Removed
Disney attractions are truly amazing based on the intricate attention to details and the storytelling aspect of the attractions. As Guests make their way through queues and enjoy pre-shows, it is all setting the stage for the attraction they are about to enjoy.
We were all excited when Walt Disney World reopened their magical gates in July 2020. We had missed our “Happy Place.” Many things were quite a bit different from the last time that we had visited Walt Disney World. One of the pieces of magic that was missing was with the pre-shows of select attractions.
The disappearance of these shows was to allow for proper physical distancing of Guests. With the new mask changes at Walt Disney World and the change to physical distancing, some pre-shows have returned.
Pre-Shows are Back
This past week, many have begun returning to the parks! Haunted Mansion just went back to pre-pandemic times with the stretching room pre-show back to normal. You can read about that HERE.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Guests have finally been able to enjoy the pre-show for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. This opened to Guests just days before the Parks were closed due to COVID-19. This pre-show was only enjoyed by a few Guests, but now all Guests can enjoy this fun show prior to their journey with Conductor Goofy.
Yesterday in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the fan-favorite pre-show returned to the Tower of Terror. Guests were delighted to enjoy this great pre-show again.
Another Pre-Show Returns
It seems that every time we shared a pre-show returning at least one Pirate Crew member mentions this attraction. We are now happy to announce that the pre-show has now returned to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
Now you can enjoy seeing Steven Tyler and his band in their recording studio as they ask for a super-stretch limo to carry you and the other fans to their concert. This is such a fun pre-show as you get ready to Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Many people love to ride this thrilling coaster, which launches guests in a “stretch limo” from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds. You can even check out the science behind this ride HERE.
We are happy to announce that the pre-show has now returned to Roc ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
Are you one of the fans who was looking forward to the return of this pre-show? Do you think this pre-show really helps set the stage for the attraction? Will you be ready to Rock ‘n’ Roll on your next Disney vacation? Share your thoughts with us on our Facebook Page.
