New: Check Out the Incredible Look of the Contemporary Resort’s New Design

Walt Disney’s World Contemporary Resort has undergone quite the refurbishment this year. Check out the “Incredible” new look to this classic Resort.

Refurbishment

One of Disney’s first resort hotels is the Contemporary Resort. It opened in 1971 and is within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom. Disney is in the process of refurbishing the resort, and it is expected to last until September 2021. We are glad to see that it will be complete before the 50th anniversary.

Today, Walt Disney World has revealed the new look of this refurbishment and it is truly “Incredible.”

Retro-Modern Design

The first look that we have of the room is so sleek and ultra retro. The goal was to evoke a theme of “Tomorrowland…..with a dash of something Incredible too.”

I think they nailed it! I love the bedding including both Edna Mode and Frozone. These two characters are so much fun! The theming of this room can truly be enjoyed by the young, and the young at heart as well.

“These rooms will blend a sleek Monorail motif with some favorite characters from Pixar Animation Studio’s Incredible films.”

The goal was to evoke a theme of “Tomorrowland…..with a dash of something Incredible too.”

Fun Thematic Elements

I love the clever theming with the closets and drawers as well. Check out the inside drawer of this nightstand. You will always have your superhero gadgets close at hand.

This closet space is so much fun! I love that masks lined up on the top shelf and each super’s suits hung and ready for their next “Incredible” adventure.

Incredible Bathrooms Reimagined

Check out this newly designed bathroom. This is definitely a better design than the 2 lighted mirror and the fabric shower curtain that was previous bathroom design as pictured below.

This new design is a great change to welcome Guests very soon. Currently all nine floors of the tower’s guest rooms are currently being refurbished. This is such a welcome refurbishment for this classic Resort.
