New Signs point to the reopening of Casey’s Corner

So many great announcements are coming from Walt Disney World. Could Casey’s Corner be announced to reopen soon? Check out the newest update that has us ready to do the “Hotdog Dance” with Mickey Mouse.

Menu Updated

Set at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. is Casey’s Corner. This old-fashioned hot dog joint is loved by many who walk through those gates at Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately, it has not reopened likely due to physical distancing concerns. It is such a small space and overcrowds easily due to its popularity.

This past week we noticed an update to the menu at Casey’s Corner. You can check out this new updated menu HERE. We took this as a very positive sign that this fan-favorite dining location would be reopening.

When could it reopen?

With the announcement of Magic Kingdom fireworks returning on July 1st, many believe that this could be a great reason to reopen Casey’s Corner. We also recently shared that Guests could enjoy even more magic with extended Park hours in the Magic Kingdom this summer.

The longer Park hours and the return of fireworks would allow many Guests to enjoy the delicious snack and food options available at Casey’s Corner.

New Steps to Reopening

Guests strolling down Main Street, USA have noticed that the windows Casey’s Corner have been uncovered. Guests peering inside have noticed that many changes have occurred.

This location was once used as an overflow shopping location for the Emporium while it was closed for dining. Now tables and seating have returned to this location. It looks like they are ready to welcome Guests not only to order and pickup food, but also to be able to dine in this location as well.

At this point, Walt Disney World has not announced a reopening date for Casey’s Corner, but it appears that we may be hearing an announcement soon.
