Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort
It’s almost that time of the year again when the Disneyland Resort transforms into Halloween just in time for the spooky season!
Guests of all ages will be able to enjoy the ghoulishly festivities beginning September 3 through October 31st throughout Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
Offerings at Disneyland Park
The Haunted Mansion Holiday which features the one and only Jack Skellington and all the quirky characters of Halloween Town will be taking over The Haunted Mansion. You will find this attraction at Disneyland Park.
Dedicated fans of the holiday house will look forward to spotting the annual bespoke gingerbread house on its precarious perch on the ballroom table, making its 20th appearance for this collision of two holidays. Other favorite sights await, including Sally, Zero and other characters from the movie.
On Main Street, U.S.A., Mickey and friends will show off their Halloween finest Halloween outfits. Be sure to snap a picture in front of the famous giant Mickey Mouse jack-o’-lantern also located on Main Street, U.S.A..
Plaza de la Familia which is located inside Disneyland Park will include its traditional display of Dia de los Muertos. If you are more interested in learning about this traditional Mexican holiday, you can read it HERE.
Every night between September 3 through October 31st, guests will be able to enjoy “Halloween Screams,” a projection and special effects show.
On weekend nights, “Halloween Screams” will not only will be a projection show but it will include fireworks!
Offerings at Disneyland California Adventure Park
The Oogie Boogie Bash-A Disney Halloween Party will be offered as a separate ticket event. For more information and details you can read more about the event HERE.
Once again guests will be able to enjoy Guardians of the Galaxy-Monsters After Dark, a thrilling Halloween adventure.
Over at Cars Land, Radiator Springs during the Halloween season transforms into Radiator Screams!
The residents decorate their homes and dress for the occasion with quite the eclectic Haul-O-Ween spectacular.
Continue the fun by riding Mater’s Graveyard JamBooree and Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O Ween!
Guests will have to make sure that their eyes are open at all times as Disney characters dressed in their festive holiday gear on Buena Vista Street, seasonal décor such as the 10 foot statue of the Headless Horseman, and delicious treats.
Downtown Disney District
New to this season will be Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, a brand new Halloween themed pumpkin hunt that will be available from September 9 through October 31st in the Downtown Disney District.
