The Wave breakfast to be offered at alternate location

Disney’s Contemporary Resort is undergoing a lot of changes this year!

As one of Disney World’s original resorts, it seems fitting that the Contemporary is getting a major facelift in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.

Changes to Disney’s Contemporary Resort

We previously covered several ongoing changes and refurbishments happening at the Contemporary.

Guests of this resort will get to enjoy newly remodeled rooms featuring characters from The Incredibles!

The lobby of the Contemporary will also receive an update! The first floor lobby will be closed starting July 16.

One of the three restaurants at the Contemporary, The Wave, will close soon for a remodel. Rumors speculate that The Wave as we know it will cease to exist in favor of a new steakhouse.

The Wave’s breakfast offerings are a hidden gem. People love the sweet potato pancakes and the avocado toast! Check out Susan’s review of The Wave of American Flavors here.

We’re excited to hear that the Wave’s breakfast will temporarily relocate to California Grill!

The change will happen on July 16, when the lobby and The Wave are both scheduled to close.
