As a part of the Halfway to the Holidays celebration, Disney Parks Blog announced details about holiday entertainment, decor, food and drink, and merchandise today.
Magic Kingdom
As mentioned in another article, the Magic Kingdom is offering some brand new experiences for guests that are sure to bring a jolly and festive mood for guests! Read here to find out more about the offerings at the Magic Kingdom.
Hollywood Studios
Get ready for Sunset Seasons Greetings to return! The projection effects show on the Hollywood Holiday Tower Hotel on Sunset Boulevard will once again be dazzling guests. With scenes from Arendelle, the Muppets, Toy Story, and “Mickey’s Christmas Carol”, there is something for everyone!
This special transformation will alternate with the tower’s nightly transformation into a Beacon of Magic for the 50th anniversary.
Santa Claus is also back! He will be participating in a motorcade down Hollywood Boulevard.
A fan favorite show, “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” will feature a festive finale with Olaf, our favorite snowman.
For specialty dining in the parks, Minnie Mouse and friends will be returning for their festive meal at Hollywood and Vine. Even Santa Goofy will be there!
Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom is packing the holiday punch with the return of seasonal decor and festive Disney character flotillas sailing down Discovery River.
The park’s iconic Tree of Life will continue to transform as another Beacon of Magic as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration, but will receive special holiday edition overlays that will take place most nights during the holiday season.
Epcot
For one of the most exciting pieces of information to be announced today, the International Festival of the Holidays will be returning this year!
From November 26th- December 30th, get ready to participate in one of the most beloved signs of the holidays at Disney World. From Holiday Kitchens around the park, performances by Voices of Liberty, and the Cookie Stroll, there is sure to be something for everyone at this celebration!
