Entertainment continues to return to the Walt Disney World resort. Now, another set of performers are set to audition.
Live entertainment has been slow to make a comeback at the Walt Disney World resort. As we edge closer to the 50th anniversary celebration, it has been steadily returning. Performers now can audition for another entertainment location!
Entertainment Slowly Returns
Union disputes, health and safety concerns and budget constraints have slowed live entertainment down in the parks since reopening last July.
Recently, the Food and Wine Festival line-up was announced. The festival will feature bands local to central Florida. Check out some of the other great things to do at Epcot Food and Wine Festival 2022, including booths, festival merchandise and more.
Most Recent Auditions
Guests rejoiced last month as two guest favorite Magic Kingdom offerings came back!
During the Cast Member preview of the Happily Ever Fireworks show, Casey’s Corner hot dogs delighted guests for the first time in well over a year.
Now, Casey’s Corner is looking for piano players again!
Interested cast members have been asked to submit a one minute video audition. Call backs will occur in early August.
Initial audition videos are to be submitted by the end of July.
More Newly Reopened Experiences
Several resorts will be reopening before the end of the year, including Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Port Orleans resorts and the remainder of the All-Star resorts, All-Star Sports and All-star Music.
Monsters, inc. Laugh Floor and the Festival of the Lion King have either returned or have taken steps towards reopening.
At the parks, you’ll find newly reopened restaurants, such as the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor! At the resorts, more restaurants have sprung back into action. Our team recently enjoyed Citricos and Ohana.
