Earlier this year, we learned that Disney’s Extra Magic Hours would not be returning, and in its place would be “Early Theme Park Entry.” We also learned that select Disney Guests (read: Guests staying in Deluxe Resorts!) would be granted extra evening hours. We now know when extended evening hours will begin!
New onsite benefits for Disney Resort Guests
A new “perk” for onsite Disney Resort Guests is extended hours just for them!
Beginning October 1, Disney will be rolling out a new early theme park entry benefit for Disney Resort hotel guests and guests of other select hotels, giving them the first chance to enjoy select attractions at EVERY theme park, EVERY day.
Guests staying at a Disney hotel or select other hotels like Swan and Dolphin or Shades of Green, will be able to enter the park before anyone else!
Guests staying in Deluxe Resorts or Deluxe Villa Resorts will even get an added benefit.
These Guests will enjoy extended evening hours on select nights in select Theme Parks.
Guests wishing to take advantage of this perk will need a valid Resort reservation, a valid ticket or pass and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same day to experience extended evening hours. Guests with Park Hoppers will also be able to hop to the Park with the extended hours.
First extended hours released
The first four dates and Parks for extended hours for Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Disney Guests have now been released.
- Monday, October 4: EPCOT from 10:00 to midnight
- Wednesday, October 6: Magic Kingdom from 9:00 to 11:00
- Monday, October 11: EPCOT from 10:00 to midnight
