One of the biggest pieces of magic missing from Walt Disney World is the ability to meet and interact with our favorite characters. Here is some good news for character fans: EPCOT now has a modified character meet and greet with a beloved character! Will you be heading to Epcot in hopes of spotting her?
Characters in Disney World
Since reopening in July 2020, Disney World is very slowly returning the opportunity for Guests to meet and interact with our favorite characters.
We love having the chance to see our favorite character cavalcades but are really missing the ability to talk to and interact with our favorite characters.
And of course, who doesn’t love the chance to grab a selfie with their favorite characters! Disney’s answer to this Guest need: modified character meet and greets.
Disney has several characters meeting throughout the Theme Parks throughout the day. Characters meet at a distance from Guests but do still talk and interact with them.
Walt Disney World has said the characters are not quite ready yet to give us hugs, but with a recent survey being sent out to guests, we are hoping non distanced character meets may return in the future!
Return of our favorite characters
We were so excited to recently learn Mulan has returned to Epcot and we could once again meet with her in the China Pavilion.
Another of our favorite princesses, Jasmine, is also meeting once more! You can find Princess Jasmine throughout the day at the Morocco Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase.
Anna and Elsa are also greeting Guests together from a distance in World Showcase’s Norway Pavilion!
New character meet and greet
Now, another favorite character is meeting Guests in EPCOT’s World Showcase!
Princess Aurora, from the Disney animated classic Sleeping Beauty is back in EPCOT!
Princess Aurora is visiting with Guests in World Showcase’s France Pavilion. Aurora is meeting Guests in a distanced meet, but you are still able to talk with her and grab that selfie!
Will you visit with Princess Aurora in the France Pavilion anytime soon? Let us know on Kenny the Pirate’s Facebook page, or join our crew and continue the discussion!
