Very Merriest tickets are now available for resort guests. You wouldn’t believe how easy it was for me to purchase them. Did you get yours?
Very Merriest
Twinkling lights, snow on Main Street, and very low waits! Disney is debuting a brand new event this Christmas season.
The event will take place on 24 select nights Nov. 8 through Dec. 21 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. This year’s holiday celebration is truly once in a lifetime, coinciding with the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary – “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
Event dates are:
November: 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 28, 30
December: 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21
Not only will we have Christmas parades and fireworks, but we will also have the usual After Hours offerings like low wait times and free snacks. You can read all about what to expect at Very Merriest HERE.
Tickets are now available!
Resort guests are able to purchase tickets for their vacation today, August 17. Those that don’t currently have a resort stay can book theirs on August 20. You may remember resort guests had to book their Boo Bash tickets over the phone. This ended up being a very-spooky nightmare with hours of waiting and frustration.
It seems Disney has learned from their mistakes and tickets are available for resort guests online right now. And with the high pricing of these events, I am glad it was painless to grab my tickets.
Here’s how to get them:
Head to the Disney World website (preferably incognito or on a private tab).
You can search for “Very Merriest” in the search bar. Under the “Event Details” portion of the event page, there is a link to purchase. There is a virtual queue of sorts that will take some time to get into the actual page.
You will then follow all the steps of selecting your date, but do note that the only dates that were highlighted for me were the ones that occurred during my resort stay.
Choose your tickets, assign them to the members of your party, and you can proceed to pay.
I received an email confirmation with my purchase, and the whole process took me less than 10 minutes. And I was prepared to be on hold for hours today. I’m glad Disney made these available online after the Boo Bash fiasco.

It seems only those that are able to access the US WDW site are able to purchase the tickets. Anyone outside the States accessing via the UK WDW site for example is unable to, and a phone call is pointless as we are told it’s online only. So no tickets for us. Even with a two week resort stay booked.

We are trying the purchase now link and 3 hours later are still being sent to the same page. Tried calling and have been on hold for 1.5 hours (from the UK) so upsetting :(

I was in virtual queue for 7 minutes at 7 am. Done by 7:08 and amazed how smoothly it went.
