New dates and more buffets returning soon to Disney World

Buffets have officially returned to Disney World! Check out which restaurants will now offer buffets again. Are you a fan of buffets?

Earlier this month, Disneyland resort saw the return of buffet-style dining. Disney World announced that fan-favorite buffet Boma would reopen soon at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Buffets Returning

A lot of you are likely thinking, “A buffet? During Covid?” You’re not alone there.

It has been reported that many of the buffets that are in use now utilize pre-portioned plates so guests are not serving their own selections with a communal tool (tong, spoon etc).

That sounds a little better to me (Rebecca) personally, but I’m still not a big buffet fan. They can be quite useful for families with little kids because they can shorten the duration of a dining reservation. You can just go grab the food you want without waiting to order.
