Fab 50 Character Collection
Disney’s 50th Anniversary celebration is coming up quickly. One of the way the parks are celebrating is by installing 50 golden character statues throughout each of their four theme parks.
Walt Disney World has been revealing new characters one by one leading up to the anniversary. To see a sneak peek at what these statues will look like, take a look at this cool video in this post HERE.

New Characters
The first of the new reveals is Olaf and Bruni from Frozen 2! Jennifer Lee, Chief Creative Officer from Walt Disney Animation Studios, revealed that you will be able to find their statue at EPCOT beginning on October 1st.
Next, L Steven Taylor, who plays Mufasa in Broadway’s “The Lion King” announced Simba will be joining the Fab 50 Character Collection. Guests can find Simba displayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Finally, did you know it’s National Dog Day today? What better way to celebrate than announce that Mickey’s pal, Pluto will be part of the Fab 50 Character Collection?
Today, Jimmy Pitaro, ESPN Chairman revealed that Pluto will be displayed at Magic Kingdom. Don’t miss out on ESPN’s Dog Day, as they “raise the woof” today on ESPN2’s Bark in the Park at 7:00 p.m. ET tonight. The two-hour event features spectator-friendly sports including Agility, Diving Dogs, Flyball and Weave Pole.
