Disney continues to highlight various princesses for their World Princess Week! Find out how to celebrate Thursday’s princess (Ariel) and Friday’s (Mulan) at Disney parks around the world!
Each day this week, Disney Parks Blog features a different Princess for “World Princess Week.” On Thursday, we learned where to spot Ariel around the parks, and today they focused on Mulan!
World Princess Week
Disney referred to this week as the “first ever” World Princess Week, which is to say they made it up just for this year! Each princess also does a quick lesson on an important attribute in the Youtube series, Courage and Kindness Club.
The first princess honored on Monday was Tiana! On Tuesday, Disney focused on all things Cinderella. On Wednesday, Disney revealed several Moana offerings at Disney’s Aulani resort and elsewhere throughout their parks and resorts.
Thursday’s Princess: Ariel
Ariel is one of the most popular princesses Disney has ever created.
So, it’s no surprise that multiple locations at Walt Disney World have an Ariel theme. From Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid ride in Magic Kingdom, to Disney’s Art of Animation resort, Ariel fans will have plenty to splash about.
There’s also a cute Ariel themed treat at Prince Eric’s Market across from the Under the Sea ride in Fantasyland. It’s a slushy with a candy mermaid tail!
The Disney Wonder’s Lobby Atrium tells the story of The Little Mermaid and features a gorgeous statue of Ariel!
At Hong Kong Disneyland, the Castle of Magical Dreams honors many princesses with towers and spiers themed to each one!
Tokyo Disney Resort offers King Triton’s Concert, which looks like great fun!
They also have this really cool Ariel-themed shop in the mouth of a whale:
And finally there’s Flounder’s Flying Fish Coaster:

Friday’s Princess: Mulan
Mulan is well represented at Shanghai Disney! In the Mickey’s Storybook Express parade, Mulan can be seen riding her horse, Khan!
Sculptures representing characters from Mulan line the Voyage to the Crystal Grotto.
Mulan has a big role in Mickey’s Storybook Adventure stage show!
On Disney Cruise Line, I’ll Make a Man Out of You from the Mulan soundtrack can be viewed as part of the Golden Mickeys show on the Disney Dream and Disney Wonder.
At Walt Disney World, Mulan can be spotted in the Royal Princess Processional at Magic Kingdom and sometimes spends time in the gardens of the China pavilion at Epcot.
You can meet Mulan at the newly reopened Napa Rose restaurant at Disney’s Grand Californian resort in Disneyland.
