Disney always makes the Christmas season so fun! This year at Disneyland is no exception. A brand new event called Merriest Nites will take place this year!
After Hours Event
Five holiday parties with Mickey Mouse and friends will an host all-new holiday after-hours events at Disneyland Park. This year, Disneyland has added a new separate ticket, limited-capacity offering, Disney Merriest Nites.
Join Mickey Mouse as he celebrates with friends at Disney’s newest event.
Holiday Experiences
Join the fun with holiday themed parties! Guests will enjoy entertainment, certain attractions, characters, merchandise and unique photos. Check out the details below.
Early Park Admission
Just like Disney World’s Very Merriest After Hours even, Disneyland guests purchasing Disneyland After Hour tickets can arrive early to Disneyland park beginning at 5:00 PM.
Then, explore the park before the party without theme park ticket or reservation.
Merry Entertainment
Get into the festive spirit with a special performance of A Christmas Fantasy Parade. You’ll even get a chance to see Santa Claus coming down Main Street in the finale!
As an adult but kid at heart, I (Susan) still find joy in seeing Santa.
Attractions
Ride Disneyland’s classic attractions, including holiday favorites like “it’s a small world” Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday. A huge benefit of attending After Hours is the minimal wait time due to low crowds.
Note: Access to Mickey’s Toontown, Critter Country and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will not be available during event hours.
Character Appearances
You’ll delight in seeing rare and classic Disney Characters dressed in their holiday outfits. You’ll see Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and their friends traveling in a special coach with Christmas carol sing-alongs. Be on the lookout for hilarious Muppet antics, and a few chickens!
In New Orleans Square, Princess Tiana greets guests at her bayou-inspired celebration. Then, in Frontierland, Miguel from the Disney and Pixar film “Coco” will be wishing everyone Feliz Navidad at the dancing fiesta.
Three more character-hosted holiday parties await you with a tropical party hosted by Lilo & Stitch in Adventureland. In Fantasyland join Elsa for a winter celebration. Buzz Lightyear shows off his festive holiday spirit in Tomorrowland.
Festive Photo Themed Backdrops
Also, Disney PhotoPass photographers will capture shots with included unlimited downloads of photos taken during the event.
You’ll enjoy themed photo backdrops to share with your friends. Be sure to wear your favorite festive attire.
Merchandise
Everyone loves holiday merchandise. At the After Hour Event, guests will be able to purchase holiday merchandise that is available during the day.
Not only that but special Disney Merriest Nites-themed merchandise will be available during the event.
Specialty Holiday Treats
Feast on holiday treats with a twist! Enjoy event-inspired menu options like hot chocolate and cookies at select Disneyland Park locations. Yum!
