New Details Announced for Sunrise Yoga at Cinderella Castle

Does sunrise yoga in front of Cinderella Castle sound as magical as you think? The answer is probably YES! Registration for this brand new event opens soon!

In-person runDisney events

Last year races were shifted to virtual events when the pandemic forced the parks to shut down. Races did not return to in-person as social distancing was not a possibility with these large scale events.

Recently, runDisney announced that in-person races would be returning this FALL! Much sooner than many of us anticipated! I know I’m excited to see these in-person events again!

As of this writing the Princess Half Marathon and the Fairy Tale Challenge remain open for registration!

runDisney also announced that runners would be given a start time, which means that not everyone would be starting at the same time like they have in years past. This would be a staggered start to help maintain some distance with the large crowd. Read about those details HERE.

Sunrise Yoga

Princess Half Marathon Weekend is always a popular weekend, but runDisney made it even more exciting with a new event. They have now introduced Sunrise Yoga.

Begin Princess Weekend with yoga in front of Cinderella Castle. Registration fees vary based on date of purchase. From opening until January 24, 2022 the fee is $95.

Then from January 25 – February 16, 2022 the fee is $105. These prices do not include a 6.6% platform service fee.

Highlights for Sunrise Yoga

Participants will get a new and exciting event. They will get a one hour yoga experience, yoga mat with carrying cover, and bottled water.

Parking will be complimentary at the Magic Kingdom until 5AM. Participants should keep in mind that no event transportation is provided for this event.

Registration Date

Finally! runDisney has announced when registration will open for this new event. Registration will open on September 14, 2021 at 10am EST.

And just like with all the runDisney events that have returned, there will be no early registration for Annual Passholders or DVC Members. I wonder if this event will sell out? Some of the races are still open which isn’t something we have seen in the past.
