Are you heading to Walt Disney World soon? If so, you are going to want to check out what new perk you can take advantage of before the official start date!
Early Theme Park Entry
Earlier this year, Disney announced that Extra Magic Hours would not be returning, and in its place Early Theme Park Entry would grant Guests early access to the theme parks. As we are getting closer to October 1st, we are now receiving more details.
Beginning October 1, Disney will be rolling out a new early theme park entry benefit for Disney Resort hotel guests and guests of other select hotels, giving them the first chance to enjoy select attractions at EVERY theme park, EVERY day.
That means if you are staying at a Disney hotel or other hotel like Swan and Dolphin or Shades of Green, you will be able to enter the park before anyone else!
Soft Opening
Guests with upcoming stays at select resorts have received exciting news! They will be able to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry before it officially begins on October 1st.
Walt Disney World is offering a soft opening of the new benefit beginning on September 26th!
Guests who take advantage of this new benefit will be able to experience 30 minutes of early entry to any theme park. I (Maggie) am always up for more time in the parks which always leaves more time for fun!
Available Attractions
For a complete list of the attractions that will be available during Early Theme Park Entry, take a look at this post HERE. If you are heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, be sure to take advantage of this added benefit as Rise of the Resistance has just been added to the list of available attractions.
Now that guests do not need to utilize the virtual queue to board this attraction, getting to the theme park EARLY is something to take advantage of. Though the park saw massive crowds yesterday, the wait was actually less than the posted time.
Be sure to check Character Locator for updates in touring plans, park hours and crowd calendars so that you have a great plan for your vacation.
Will you be taking advantage of Early Theme Park Entry? Are you going to be there for the soft opening of this new benefit? Tell us about it in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
