We have just received word from one of the World Showcase entertainers that they will be returning to EPCOT after all entertainment ceased in March 2020 due to the pandemic.
EPCOT Entertainers Laid Off
Back in March of 2020 as Disney faced an uncertain future due to COVID-19, Disney cut most third-party entertainment contracts.
It seemed that one by one Disney entertainers were thanking fans for their loyalty, love and support of watching them perform for many years.
As Disney World celebrates its 50th anniversary in a few days we are learning that more entertainment is returning to the theme parks. Just a couple of days ago, it was announced that the Casey’s Corner Pianist will once again be entertaining guests.
Matsuriza Drummers
Yesterday evening, the Matsuriza Drummers that perform at the Japan Pavilion in EPCOT posted on their Facebook page that they will be returning to perform beginning October 1, 2021.
We are so excited and grateful to come back for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration! All your continuous love and support during our time away has been sincerely appreciated and has kept our spirits high. Looking forward to seeing all your beautiful faces again. PLEASE COME SAY HI!!! We cannot wait to see you and perform for you at our Pagoda home once again. This will truly be the world’s most magical celebration!
Performance Days: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays. (Off Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
