A classic and favorite mode of transportation is returning to Disney soon!
Disneyland
Disneyland finally reopened at the end of April 2021 and out of state guests were able to visit in June of 2021. To see what Marisol’s experience was on reopening day, take a look at this post HERE.
As the park continues to make its phased reopening, more restaurants, shops and resorts are beginning to slowly reopen.
Disneyland Monorail
Today, we have exciting news regarding the Disneyland Monorail. Disney has announced that the Disneyland Monorail will return to its daily operation beginning tomorrow, October 15th.
“The Disneyland Monorail has been a beloved attraction for decades, ever since it first debuted at Disneyland in 1959 – more than 60 years ago! At that time, it was the first daily operating monorail in the Western Hemisphere.
The Disneyland Monorail returns to daily operation October 15th!
The Disneyland Monorail not only serves as a fun transportation experience, but also offers a unique way to see elevated sights around the resort, including areal views of Tomorrowland and Fantasyland in Disneyland park and Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure park.
For those who might not know, there are two locations to board the Disneyland Monorail; one station is located in the Downtown Disney District and the other station is in Tomorrowland. If you’re staying at one of the three hotels of the Disneyland Resort, hopping on the Disneyland Monorail is a fun way to bypass the main entrance and ride your way directly into Disneyland park!
If you do decide to board from Downtown Disney, just remember to make sure you have your valid ticket and theme park reservation ready, since this will serve as your official entry into Disneyland park.”
