Looking to add a bit more magic to your visit at Disney World? Disney is bringing back a few more special experiences!
Disney World Holiday Season
I cannot believe November is next week! Despite Disney already decorating for the holidays, the season doesn’t officially kick off until November 12.
At Magic Kingdom, we have the return of the Christmas parade and fireworks at Very Merriest After Hours. After a few months of tickets being available, the first few nights just recently sold out.
At Epcot, Festival of the Holidays will return with Candlelight Processional and storytellers! Living with the Land will also have its festive overlay.
I am very much looking forward to seeing the Merry Menagerie at Animal Kingdom and the Hollywood Tower Hotel all lit up!
Around the resorts, gingerbread houses will return after taking a break in 2020. Speaking of the resorts, another magical offering is returning!
Carriage Rides
Ft. Wilderness will once again offer the horse-drawn carriage rides around the resort! Here is what the Disney website has to say about the offering:
Get in the spirit of the season as you travel along scenic trails aboard a festive “sleigh.” Holiday Sleigh Rides are available select nights from December 1 through December 30, 2021.
You’ll board your “sleigh” for a 25-minute ride at the new Tri-Circle-D Ranch Barn near the Settlement Bus Depot at The Cabins and Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Carriages fit up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 small children.
Each horse-drawn holiday sleigh ride costs $75. Please allow for 1 hour of transportation time, as Guests will be required to park at the main entrance of Fort Wilderness and take a bus to the Settlement Bus Depot.
Other Carriage Experiences
Can’t make it down to Disney for the holidays? Disney also announced other carriage experiences are returning!
Regular carriage Rides will resume in January 2022 at the Cabins and Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and in February 2022 at Disney’s Port Orleans – Riverside.
