This weekend Guests visiting Walt Disney World will experience a big closure due to weather. Find out how this may affect your Disney plans this weekend or possibly future Disney trips as well.
Rainy Day at Disney
Have you ever heard the expression, “A rainy day at Disney is still a better day than anywhere else?” This may be true, but the weather does greatly affect the overall experience at Walt Disney World.
Due to inclement weather, we see many attractions unavailable which causes a domino affect creating longer wait times for a decreased number of opened attractions.
Many Guests visiting Walt Disney World have been planning their vacation for months and even years prior to their arrival. Rain in the forecast may not be avoidable, but as always Character Locator offers great touring plans to help adjust your touring plans.
Closures this Weekend
This weekend Walt Disney World will host its first in-person racing event since 2020 with the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend. This will definitely be fun, but it will also be rather wet time for runners as it appears a 100% chance of rain on Friday.
This high percentage of rain will also bring in a a cold front to the Orlando area with temperatures forecasted in the low 70’s. Due to these weather conditions, Walt Disney World has announced that Blizzard Beach Water Park will be closed on November 5th and November 6th.
We are hoping that all runners in the Disney Wine & Dine events this weekend will have a fun and safe running experience and that attraction closures will be at a minimum for Guests in the Parks.
Due to these weather conditions, Walt Disney World has announced that Blizzard Beach Water Park will be closed on November 5th and November 6th.
