Character sightings are back! For one night only, guests will be able to see some favorite rare Disney villains. Read on for all the details!
Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend
This weekend runDisney races returned to in person! It was so exciting to see all the runners out there enjoying the magic. Even though the weekend started with some wet weather, it did not put a damper on the magic. Runners travel from all over to participate in these runDisney races.
Planning on participating in a runDisney race? Here are some helpful tips that every runDisney runner should now. Flying in for your race? Here are FIVE items to pack in your carry on.
After Party
How do you celebrate after running through the Most Magical Place on Earth? With an Post-Race Party of course!
This is one of my (Heather) favorite runDisney events as it is the ONLY one with a Post-Race Party for half marathon participants. Half marathon runners receive entry into EPCOT.
Runners and other guests (with a valid Post-Race Party ticket) are able to enjoy select attractions and rare character sightings.
With Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend being villain themed, some favorite rare villains will be out and about!
Rare Character Sightings
Guests of the Post-Race Party will get a chance to see 12 Disney Villains! That is a whole lot of bad! Venture around World Showcase to find them all. Here is where you can find them:
- CHINA – Shan Yu
- Germany – The Queen or The Witch
- Italy – J. Worthington Foulfellow or Gideon
- The American Adventure – Dr. Facilier or Oogie Boogie
- Morocco – Jafar
- France – Gaston or Maleficent
- United Kingdom – The Queen of Hearts or Cruella De Vil
Some of these favorite villains will have alternating appearances throughout the night.
