Magic Kingdom is closing early on one night only

No one likes to hear The Most Magical Place on Earth is closing early! For one night only, Guests will have to leave very early. See which date along with other updates.

Disney in January

January is a great time to visit Walt Disney World. Guests can experience cooler temperatures and lighter crowds. For the past couple of years, I (Maggie) have enjoyed visiting in January to start off the New Year.

For guests visiting EPCOT, the Festival of the Arts takes place. It is one of my favorite festivals of the year. This year it takes place from January 14th to February 21, 2022. For more details relating to next year’s Festival of the Arts, take a look at this post HERE.

Knowing park hours will help your touring plans for your next trip. The last update we had included hours for January 1 through January 10. Be sure to head over to Character Locator to plan your days out using his touring strategies!

Here are the new hours for January 21 to January 26.

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom will be open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on all days from January 11 to January 26 with the exception of January 25. On January 25, the park will close at 4:30 pm. This is likely for the yearly Cast Member event.

Magic Kingdom will close at 4:30 pm on January 25.

Many will avoid the park on this day, so if you’re a savvy Disney goer this is a great day to go to Magic Kingdom!

Remember these are initial hours, and Disney will usually extend them as the dates approach. Guests without park reservations will be able to hop to Magic Kingdom after 2 pm.

On all days, onsite Guests will be able to enter at 8:30 am. On January 26, deluxe resort Guests can enjoy the park from 8 pm to 10 pm.

EPCOT

EPCOT will be open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm from January 21 to January 26. Festival of the Arts occurs during this time, so be sure to check Character Locator prior to the festival beginning for all the details! Park hopping to Epcot begins at 2 pm.

All onsite guests can enter as early as 9:30 am. Deluxe resort Guests can visit Epcot from 9 pm to 11 pm on January 24.

Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios will operate from 9 am to 9 pm every day January 21 through January 26. Onsite guests can ride their favorite attractions as early as 8:30 am.

Park hopping begins at 2 pm like the other parks. Unfortunately, Hollywood Studios does not participate in extended evening hours for deluxe resort guests. Hopefully soon!

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is open to Guests from 9 am to 7 pm from January 21 to January 26. If you want to take advantage of early theme park entry, you can enter as early as 8:30 am.

Park hopping begins at 2 pm like the other parks. Unfortunately, Animal Kingdom does not participate in extended evening hours for deluxe resort guests either. Hopefully soon!

Disney Springs

Disney Springs will be open from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm from January 21 to January 26 with the exception of the weekends. On Friday and Saturday evenings, Disney Springs closes at 11:30 pm.
