There is no place like the Dinsey Parks for the holidays. From beautiful decorations to yummy treats, it truly is the most magical time of the year. Be sure add these 5 holiday treats to your list!
Holiday Lunch Box Tart
We will start our holiday snack tour in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I (Donna) was able to visit Walt Disney World early in the Christmas season, and at that time Disney’s Hollywood Studios offered many great holiday snack options.
One of my favorite quick service options in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is found right in Andy’s backyard. Woody’s Lunchbox offers so many great food options.
At Woody’s Lunchbox, they have an ever changing menu of their scrumptious lunch box tarts. My all-time favorite flavor is the Chocolate-Hazelnut. You can check out my review of the Raspberry Lunch Box Tart HERE.
For the holiday season, Woody’s Lunchbox offers the Holiday Lunch Box Tart. This is an “apple pie-filled tart frosted with cinnamon icing, sugar snowflake, and holiday sprinkles.”
I will say that the flavors of this tart were great! It wasn’t overly sweet with the cinnamon icing complementing the apple pie filling. My only complaint would be that there was not quite enough apple pie filling in the tart.
You can see in this photo that the inside of the tart was not overflowing with cinnamon apple goodness as many would have hoped. This is still a yummy snack option if you are dining at Woody’s Lunchbox, but I wouldn’t make a special trip to enjoy this snack alone.

Holiday Red Velvet Whoopie Pie
Last Christmas I read Monica’s review of the Holiday Red Velvet Whoopie Pie and I have been dreaming about it ever since. This sweet treat may be found at both the Backlot Express and at the Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
If you are a fan of red velvet cake, then this is definitely a holiday treat that you should try this holiday season. May we first take in the thick slices of red velvet deliciousness for this confectionary delight.
The cream cheese filling is the perfect pairing for this whoopie pie and throw in a few holiday sprinkles for good measure. This Holiday Red Velvet Whoopie Pie is large enough for two to share. At $4.99, this is a shareable treat that you should definitely enjoy on your next trip.
The Holiday Red Velvet Whoopie Pie is available at both the Backlot Express and at the Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of my favorite parks to enjoy during the holidays. I love the vintage, old-Hollywood inspired decorations. Be sure to check out my full guide to the holidays at Disney’s Hollywood Studios HERE.
Gingerbread
Outside of the beautiful decorations in the Disney Parks, visiting a few of Disney’s Resorts at the holidays is my favorite activity. I absolutely love the Grand Floridian and the giant gingerbread house that is decorated each year. Check out the 50th Anniversary theme of this year’s gingerbread house HERE.
When we were visiting the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian, the line to purchase items from the store was quite long. At first I thought I had missed my opportunity to enjoy delicious Walt Disney World gingerbread for the holidays this year.
That was until I stopped in Bayview Gifts at the Contemporary Resort. We stopped in after our time in the Parks one evening, and I spotted the most adorable gingerbread cookie.
This cookie was adorable! My daughter loved the top of this cookie that was dipped in red colored chocolate the most. The flavor of this cookie was rich in ginger and deliciousness in every bite.
Unfortunately, the gingerbread castle did not return to the Contemporary this year, but I was thankful to still have the opportunity to enjoy this cookie.
Reindeer Mousse
I must say that I judged this treat and thought it may look better in photographs than it would be delicious to enjoy. I am happy to say that I was WRONG! This treat was absolute perfection!
Let’s dive into each delicious layer of flavor. This is a “spiced caramel cheesecake over peanut butter mousse atop a salt pretzel shortbread cookie.”
This delectable treat is available at both Rosie’s All-American Cafe and at the Trolley Car Cafe, both of which are located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I enjoyed every single bit of this treat.

Butterscotch Caramel Canonoli
Now for the winner of the holiday treats that I enjoyed: the Butterscotch Caramel Cannoli. With festive holiday sprinkles, this treat as festive as it is delicious. The flavors of this treat are almost like an explosion of deliciousness. This holiday cannoli is “filled with caramel cheesecake, butterscotch chips, and chocolate flakes.”
I loved the layers of flavor that could truly be enjoyed in this yummy snack. The filling was a bit rich, but the crispy cannoli shell helped to offset some of the richness of the filling.
This treat can only be found at PizzeRizzo in Disney’s Hollywood Studios near the Muppet 3D Vision theatre. I am a fan of cannolis and this did not disappoint. I only wish that I could enjoy this delectable treat every trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and not just during the holidays.
