The jolly ole man is meeting in various spots at Disney World this year. A new Santa sighting has also popped up!
Santa Claus Sightings
What trip to Disney is complete without meeting Santa Claus? They look different than years past as social distancing and mask wearing continue to be implemented throughout Disney.
You can catch the jolly man himself in various places through December 24:
First, the Santa Claus Merry Motorcade at Hollywood Studios is happening again this year. See more photos of this HERE. Second, Santa is also in the flotilla at Animal Kingdom. See more photos from last year HERE.
The experiences at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are socially distanced and more of a “passing by” encounter versus the ones elsewhere.
Third, he can be spotted at Magic Kingdom on Very Merriest nights, Epcot, and Disney Springs. Guests will have individual time to meet and share wishes with Santa in these locations.
Another Meet
Guests visiting Magic Kingdom during the day will now see Santa at the Liberty Square gazebo. The gazebo is tucked in behind Ye Ole Christmas Shoppe. This Santa sighting is a welcome addition for those who are not attending Very Merriest. Meeting him during the daytime will also produce better quality photos as well!
However, it will also probably produce longer lines. I (Monica) recommend planning to meet him at Very Merriest if you are going.
Other Very Merriest Offerings
The Santa sighting is not the only Very Merriest Offering to be offered during then daytime. Beginning December 22, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will be available during the day. Get the full details HERE.
It’s also likely that Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will also show every night as we get closer to the Christmas season. Since Very Merriest ends before the big holiday crowd arrives, this would ensure the holiday magic continues through the season.
