Looking to take a last minute trip to Disney World? Or maybe you need to switch some plans around? More Disney Park tickets and passes are magically replenished.
Busy Holiday Season
We just came off a very heavy travel week for Walt Disney World. We will see a few lighter weeks before the crowds really pick up as we get closer to Christmas. The week between Christmas and New Year is arguably the most crowded Disney will be all year.
If you take a look at Character Locator, you know these weeks are not the most ideal time to visit Disney. This is no secret. Holiday breaks are always more crowded than traditional weeks.
By the way, Kenny has color-coded best/worst days and parks for every day of the year! Not only that, but if you are forced to visit Disney during a busy time, he has great touring strategies to help you beat the crowds.
Sold Out Dates
Last week we shared that many dates were completely sold out. This meant you could not purchase theme park tickets or make park pass reservations. This was bad news for those of you looking for a last minute trip, or if you needed to switch some park passes around. Those dates were:
- Monday, November 22
- Tuesday, November 23
- Friday, November 26
- Monday, December 20
- Tuesday, December 28
- Wednesday, December 29
- Thursday, December 30
Magically Replenished
Disney has now added more capacity for the above dates that were previously sold out beginning on December 20. Ticket sales are back on and many ticket categories and dates have availability again. Obviously the above November dates have come and gone.
Do note that not every park is available for every date, but at least now you could park hop after 2 pm. Magic Kingdom is consistently unavailable for theme park tickets and resort guests. Starting on December 20 and going through December 31 is when you will find sold out days.
