Extended Hours Announced for Parks during New Year Week

Do you have an upcoming trip to Disney World during the week between Christmas and the new year? If so, there have been new park hours announced for this week.

Character Locator

As changes to park hours occur frequently, especially during the holidays and other peak traveling times, be sure to check out Character Locator! Hours change frequently and Character Locator is always updated with the latest park hours.

Magic Kingdom

If you are hoping to fit in a late night of rides and Disney holiday magic at the Magic Kingdom, you are in luck! Hours for the following dates have been extended:

Walt Disney Company names new Chairman of the Board

  • December 26-29: Hours are now 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. This is one additional hour of park time for guests.
  • January 1: Hours are now 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. This is one additional hour of park time for guests.

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom’s hours have extended as well! This would be a great time to catch the Merry Menagerie or take an extra ride on Flight of Passage! Hours are:

  • December 26-January 1: Hours are now 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.

EPCOT

Looking to ring in the new year at EPCOT? Now you can party into 2022 with the new extended park hours! EPCOT will now be open from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Hollywood Studios

Currently, there are no changes or additions to the park hours for Hollywood Studios.
