Reopening Date is Now Set for the Last Closed Disney World Resort

It has taken quite awhile for the Walt Disney World Resort to return to “normal”. Check out the final Walt Disney World Resort that will finally reopen and when booking opens for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World.

Return to Normal

Since the reopening of the Disney Parks in 2020, things have looked a bit different. We rejoiced earlier this year when dividers and social distancing were removed from Disney buses, monorails, and the removal of plexiglass from attractions. 

Our Walt Disney World experience is quickly returning back to normal. We have been so excited have fireworks return at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Along with the return of characters are the newly reimagined “Character Sightings.”

The new year promises even more great returns with our favorite peformances of Fantasmic in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the Festival of Fantasy Parade in the Magic Kingdom. We also have a new milestone that things are returning to “normal” at the Walt Disney World Resort: the reopening of ALL Disney Resorts.

All-Star Sports Resort

It has taken quite some time for each Disney Resort to reopen. It was originally announced that All-Star Sports Resort would reopen on December 7, 2021. This date passed and the resort still remained closed to Guests.

All-Star Sports Resort has been closed since 2020, but they will reopen to Guests on March 31, 2022. Guest will be able to begin making reservations tomorrow, December 22, 2021.

Walt Disney World shares, “If you’re keeping score at home, that means all Walt Disney World Resort hotel will be operating by the spring for the first time since 2020!”

All-Star Sports will welcome Guests on March 31, 2022. Guest will be able to begin making reservations tomorrow, December 22, 2021.

We are so excited for this BIG milestone and the return of All-Star Sports Resort. It will be great to once again have all Disney Resorts reopened at Walt Disney World.
