Will you be ringing in the Lunar New Year in the Disney Parks? Check out all of the festivities and see how you can celebrate the Lunar New Year in a truly magical way with great characters that will take part in an unbelievable processional.
New Years in the Disney Parks
With large numbers of Guests visiting Walt Disney World for the holiday season, we have seen extended hours added to the Park calendar. For example, Magic Kingdom will close at 9:00pm December 26th through December 29th.
What is exciting is that there will be additional hours of magic in the Magic Kingdom on both Thursday, December 30th and Friday, December 31st (New Years Eve.) On both nights the Magic Kingdom will close at 1:00am. As always the Park hours have been updated on the Character Locator.
Guests are very excited to see the return of Fantasy Firework show. There is a special New Year’s Eve event at the California Grill. In EPCOT, there is a great New Year’s countdown firework display as well. Check out both of these great experiences HERE.
There is also a FREE party to welcome in the New Year in Disney Springs. This is a great alternative for Guests unable to secure a Park Pass Reservation.
