Disney schedules refurbishments throughout the year to keep attractions updated. Check out all the details to see which attraction is next.
Refurbishments
Refurbishments are a part of life at Walt Disney World. It’s not uncommon for at least one attraction to be closed at any given time. They take place for various reasons including mechanical issues or cosmetic updates. Based on the nature of the work, the refurbishment may last only a few days or continue for several months. For a master list of Disney’s scheduled refurbishments, read HERE.
Refurbishment is a dreaded word for Disney fans who will be visiting soon. We understand that refurbishments are a necessary part of keeping each theme park magical. However, it is disappointing when one of your favorite rides, attractions, or even photo opportunities are closed during your visit.
Monorail Refurbishment
There are 2 Monorail stations at the Disneyland Resort. Guests enter the Disneyland Monorail inside Disneyland Park at the Tomorrowland station right above Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. The Disneyland Monorail System recently resumed service. Today, Disney announced this monorail will close in a few weeks for refurbishment. Check out all the details HERE.
