A new Pixar film will be heading straight to Disney+ real soon! Check out which new release will be on the streaming platform and see if you want to watch.

Disney+ has been a treat for many subscribers and has been a great success for the Walt Disney Company in general.
The streaming platform was particularly helpful throughout the pandemic, especially when all Disney parks were closed. While everyone was stuck at home, Disney+ saved the day by bringing some Disney and happiness into their homes.
Disney+ added 2.1 million subscribers during their 4th Quarter, growing 60% in the last year. However, as people began to return to work and school, the number of new subscriptions did not increase by much.
Disney’s CEO has promised us more new content in the coming year, particularly during the months of July through September.
New Pixar Release
New content is definitely already on its way and we have already seen some new recent releases. Over the holidays, everyone was able to see Encanto. The new Star Wars series, “The Book of Boba Fett” has also been released.

During Disney’s Investor Day back in 2020, three new Pixar releases were announced. Those films were Luca, Turning Red and Lightyear. Luca has already been released, so we have two more to look forward to!
Today, Disney and Pixar announced their upcoming film, Turning Red will premiere exclusively on Disney+. It had originally been expected to come to theaters.
Turning Red will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Friday, March 11th!
Director of the Academy Award-winning short Bao, Domee Shi, brings us Turning Red. Mei is the main character, an awkward teenager. Unlike other teenagers, however, she becomes a giant red panda when she gets excited.

According to a press release from Disney, Kareem Daniel, Chairman Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution said the following about today’s decision, “Given the delayed box office recovery, particularly for family films, flexibility remains at the core of our distribution decisions as we prioritize delivering the unparalleled content of The Walt Disney Company to audiences around the world.”
