The International Festival of the Arts at EPCOT begins today, January 14, 2022 and runs through February 21, 2022. This festival has just a little bit of everything including merchandise, artistsfood menus and entertainment. Not only that, but Disney just announced a new Spaceship Earth light and sound show for the festival.

Guests will also want to be sure to check out other colorful cuisine offered, and you don’t want to miss the return of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series! For a full lineup of the artists performing, check out this post HERE.

One of my (Susan) favorite things about Epcot festivals is the creativity Disney brings us to take new pictures. As an avid scrapbooker, I can only create pages for the same shots so many times.

First, we need to start with a Figment photo op. After all, he is the star of this festival! Be on the lookout for the Figment wings backdrop shown above. Disney is making good use of all those construction walls!

One of my favorite Food and Wine Festival shots is the cutout frame. Now, guests can post with this adorable “make a masterpiece today” frame. I love that Spaceship Earth is in the background.

While walking around Epcot’s World Showcase, be sure to capture artist Figment in your photo. He looks like he’s ready for painting fun! Although the picture above shows the shot at the Japan pavilion, it’s usually available at many Photopass locations. Just ask a Photopass photographer if they can do that Magic Shot (and/or others).

Have you ever dreamed of being part of a famous painting. Well, here’s your chance! Step into Washington crossing the Delaware painting and feel like you’re part of history. This is such a fun shot!

If you’re not interested in historical paintings, how about posing for tea time with friends? Where else can you literally step into art? Be sure to look for this wonderful backdrop.

What do you think of these new photo ops? Which of these is your favorite? Please share your thoughts with us on our Facebook Page.
