Severe Weather
In our MLK weather forecast, Joe shared that there was a possibility for severe weather. With a stronger system and cold front, this did increase the thunderstorm and severe weather potential.
The highest chances for severe weather look to be Sunday late morning/early afternoon as a line of thunderstorms move across Central Florida. Be sure to keep an eye out and follow any warnings or directions from cast members.
Heavy downpours are possible Sunday, especially during any thunderstorms. The good news is that we should see improving conditions by late afternoon Sunday.
Now it seems that high chance of severe weather is turning into a tornado warning.
Tornado Warning
Locals are being alerted that a tornado warning remains in effect until 8:30 am local time for West Central Orange County. At 8:14 am a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Winter Garden. It is moving northeast at 45 mph.
This has the potential to cause flying debris. Mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed. Roof, window, and vehicle damage will occur, according to the alert.

Guests in the area should follow directions from Cast Members. Stay inside or, at the very least, seek shelter as needed.
Some fun things to do in your room include watching a movie, playing a game, or enjoying some of the Disney Resort entertainment on the television.

If you are out and about at the parks today and want to avoid the rain, you could focus on mainly indoor shows like PhilarharMagic or any of the attractions inside the Land Pavilion.
