As the inaugural launch of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser approaches, there are many questions about what exactly will be included for Guests voyaging on this brand-new, out of this world experience. One of the burning questions for many is will Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Guests get to skip the lines in Galaxy’s Edge? Here’s what we know.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser
Star Wars fans are awaiting all of the news and announcements that have been released for the brand new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. Guests visiting Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge discovered a new development near the Galactic Starcruiser. Previously this location was covered with scrim. This completely covered the entrance and blocked Guests’ views.
This scrim has now been removed and Guests can see the entrance to the Galactic Starcruiser. At this time, a hedge is still separating Guests from venturing closer to the entrance of the Galactic Starcruiser. Check out our first glimpse of the Galactic Starcruiser HERE.
New merchandise was released today for Guests who really want an immersive Star Wars experience! Check those out HERE.
We’ve also learned what the itinerary is for Guests voyaging on the Star Cruiser. Looks like it will be packed full of fun! Guests have several experiences onboard the ship, and there is even a planetary excursion in store! On Day 2, Guests will travel to Batuu in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and will be able to explore Galaxy’s Edge.
The cost of a voyage on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is quite steep. While the cost does include one day tickets for each Guest to visit Hollywood Studios, there has been question as to whether this would also include Lightning Lane access to the Park’s attractions.
Lightning Lane
Guests getting ready to voyage aboard the Starcruiser will be thrilled to learn they will be getting front of the line access to both Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
What this means is that Guests will be able to use the Lightning Lane to experience both of these attractions. In My Disney Experience, they will an “experience” for each attraction. There will not be assigned times for Guests to ride, however, they will be able to use the Lightning Lane one time on both attractions.
Are you going to be voyaging on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser? Does having one time Lightning Lane access to Galaxy’s Edge attractions make you feel this experience will be worth the cost? Let us know in the comments below, or tell us on Facebook.
