Josh D’Amaro starts new video Series
Josh D’Amaro, Chairman Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, will now host a weekly series on LinkedIn. D’Amaro shares, “For the past year, I’ve been recording video messages to our Cast, Crew, and Imagineers with updates and thoughts about our business. I thought I’d take a shot at broadening the audience and doing something similar for all of you on LinkedIn. Whether you’re a fan of Disney, a Cast Member, or a future Cast Member…I hope you enjoy.”
This will be a great video series to learn more about the Disney company.
Service Celebrations are Returning
D’Amaro shares that since the pandemic, the Cast Member service celebrations have been postponed. Guests may remember that this event was to be held on January 25th, but this had to be postponed due to inclement weather.
Service celebrations amazing Cast Members as the parks close early to Guests. This evening is filled with special entertainment, fireworks, and more. This year at Walt Disney World 29 Cast Members will be recognized for 50 years of service. D’Amaro shares, “Clearly, our Cast Members have such great passion and commitment for everything Disney.”

Legacy Nominations will Return
Cast Members in the Disney Parks and aboard the Disney Cruise line that have blue name tags are part of the Legacy Program. D’Amaro shares, “These are cast who have been recognized and nominated as the best of the best among their peers. These are Cast Members that dream big. They create and they inspire people around the world.”
He encourages Guests to congratulate these Cast Members when you see them in the Parks for this great accomplishment.
Aspire Program
The Aspire program was started a few years ago where hourly employees can use free college tuition. Currently 20,000 Cast Members have enrolled in Aspire. They are not only serving in the Disney Parks, but many are studying and attending classes as well. Since the start of Aspire 2,400 have completed technical programs with even more planning to graduate this spring.
