Figment Popcorn Buckets are back in stock but there is a new way to get them

The Figment Popcorn Buckets are back in stock! However, you won’t be standing in a long line to get them. Here’s how to get your hands on one!

It’s been quite a journey for the Figment popcorn buckets. We knew this would be hard to get after seeing the bucket for the first time. Even with an increase in the pricing and the limits placed, no one was anticipating the excitement for it.

On the day it released (the start of Festival of the Arts), the line reached up to about 7 hours! The line snaked all throughout the park. We soon saw ebay listings for the bucket triple the price in the park.

While this can be very discouraging, we also found some humor in the situation when a bad drawing of the bucket went up on eBay.

Unfortunately, the bucket sold out on January 17. If you are keeping track that is only 3 days after the start of the festival. We have not seen them back in stock since then, but with just a few days left of the festival there is hope.

The Figment buckets are back in stock! Here’s how to get them.

Open your MDE app. Use the search function at the bottom of the screen, and type in “Figment.”

Search results will pop up for the Journey Into Imagination with Figment attraction and Figment’s Brush with the Masters. If you look a little way down the screen, something NEW pops up: Epcot Souvenir Release.

After clicking on that, it gives the following message:

Figment Premium Popcorn Bucket – Available February 14, 2022. Purchase a Figment Premium Popcorn Bucket with Rainbow Popcorn using the mobile order feature. A limited quantity of these premium popcorn buckets are available at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Subject to availability.

How does it work?
1. On the day of your visit to EPCOT, open your My Disney Experience app.
2. Tap the (+) icon and select “Order Food.”
3. Choose an available mobile order arrival window for “EPCOT Souvenir Release.”
4. During your arrival window, select “I’m Here, Prepare My Order.”
5. When you receive a notification that your order is ready, go to the mobile order pick-up window at World Showplace, between the Canada and United Kingdom Pavilions, for your souvenir.

Will this solve the Figment popcorn bucket fiasco?

I am so glad to see Disney implemented a mobile order option for these buckets. After seeing the 7-hour wait, it makes sense for them to move to mobile order. Hopefully this allows the process to go more smoothly for Guests.

Do note there is a limit of 2 buckets per transaction and a limit of one transaction per Guest.

They can mobile order their popcorn bucket and travel the World (Showcase) before it’s time to pick it up! As a reminder, the festival ends later this week, and the bucket will likely sell out before then.
