Disney Vacation Club continues to welcome guests Home. Soon they will be welcoming even more guests. Find out here when the newest Disney Vacation Club accommodations will go on sale.

Disney Vacation Club

DVC is short for Disney Vacation Club. It is a timeshare run by Disney. Unlike other timeshares DVC has the flexibility of a point system.

You can book the time of year you travel and type of accommodation, including your resort of choice. With this style of timeshare you are not stuck in a particular week every year. You purchase an allotment of points that you can then choose to spend however you would like.

Grand Floridian New Villas

The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are very popular and books up quickly. Currently, the DVC portion is about 100 villas that range from studios to 3 bedroom grand villas.

Disney Vacation Club is updating the Big Pine Key building. This building is currently non-DVC. It will be converted to about 200 studios!

A new type of studio will be revealed here. A resort studio!

Disney Vacation Club describes it: These modern, sophisticated accommodations will sleep up to 5 Guests and offer luxe touches like quartz countertops, ornate crown molding and patterned tile. Resort Studios* also feature a flat-screen TV, a beverage center with a beverage cooler and coffee maker, and marble tile floors in the bathroom.

When Can We Buy?

These new DVC villas will soon be on sale! On the Disney Vacation Club website you will find: Beginning March 3, 2022 Members can add on to their membership at the newly expanded and enhanced The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Current DVC Members can add on at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa beginning March 3, 2022.

It looks like current DVC Members Will have FIRST access to this newest addition! There is no price listed yet, but I would expect it to be expensive! There is also no date listed as to when this resort will go on sale for the general public.

It is also important to note that these points will expire January 31, 2064. So it is not a full 50 year contract. Will it have the same resale restrictions as Riviera? We will have to wait and see.
