New Showtimes added for this Animal Kingdom Show

Many Disney Guests enjoy creating touring plans months prior to their Disney trip. Modifying your touring plan on Character Locator is a big joy as Guests countdown to their Disney vacation.

Since the reopening of the Disney Parks, the Walt Disney World website lists a disclaimer, “Certain parks, hotels, restaurants and other offerings may be modified or unavailable, limited in capacity and subject to limited availability or closure, and park admission and offerings are not guaranteed.”

Back in January we saw many modifications for showtimes in both Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Today, we noticed that the Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King will now offer additional showtimes.

Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King

The Festival of the Lion King is a modified experience with a name change to the Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King. Check out the review of these changes HERE.

Previously, Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King offers additional showtimes on select dates such as on weekends and holidays. Guests can enjoy 8 showtimes on these more popular dates and typically 7 showtimes during the week. Now, an additional showtime has been added at 1:00pm to all weekdays.

Guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom during the week can now enjoy 8 showtimes of this amazing show. The new performance schedule is as follows: 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm, and 5:00pm.

Now, an additional showtime has been added at 1:00pm to all weekdays.

This is great news for Guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom during the week. If you plan to Park Hop from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, this now allows Guests 4 showtimes to enjoy this show prior to hopping to a different park at 2:00pm.
