More Disney World Attractions Now Added to Genie+

Disney is making some changes to its Genie+ lineup. More attractions will be added to the paid service!

Here is the shortened version: for $15 per person per day at Disney World and $20 per person per day at Disneyland (sometimes a discount is available), choose the next available time to arrive at a variety of attractions and experiences using the Lightning Lane entrance.

You can make one selection at a time all throughout the day. 40+ attractions are included at Walt Disney World and 15+ attractions will be available at Disneyland. Here is the regular list. Additionally, select character sightings are part of the Genie+ service. See which ones are currently offered HERE.

Recently, Disney moved a few attractions offered through the a la carte option (called Individual Lightning Lane Selections) over to Genie+. This includes Frozen Ever After, Space Mountain, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. This change is effective until August 7.

This is not exactly surprising given the fact that Spring Break crowds are pouring in, and this summer also looks to be quite busy. So now, Disney is adding a few more experiences to the Genie+ lineup.

Beginning March 11, the Festival of Fantasy parade will be added to Genie+. This includes a special viewing area so you do not have to spend a lot of time staking out a good spot.

Tip: Frontierland is typically less busy than the Hub, so if you don’t want to use Genie+ for the parade, plan to watch it there instead.

Festival of Fantasy just returned to Magic Kingdom today, and there are several changes to make note of. You can see those HERE.

Also on March 11, Red Carpet Dreams will participate in Genie+ selections. That includes Mickey in his sorcerer outfit and Minnie in her pink ballgown.

Masks are now optional indoors for vaccinated guests. Not only that, but we are told social distancing will be eliminated from character meets “soon.” You can read that announcement HERE. It looks like Disney is gearing up for a summer of fun.
