As it closes, another reopens.
Epcot Experience
The Epcot Experience is a place to see all the latest Epcot projects. With the park undergoing a major transformation, this is an opportunity to see them all. Disney describes it as:
Walt Disney Imagineering invites Guests to witness the progress predicted by Walt Disney himself when he said, “EPCOT will always be in a state of becoming.” And now, the biggest transformation in Disney park history is underway as EPCOT welcomes the next generation of immersive storytelling with brand-new attractions and astonishing interactive experiences.
Visit the Odyssey Events Pavilion to discover a series of engaging exhibits that showcase the relentless innovation, energy and excitement driving the park’s unprecedented evolution!
It will close permanently on March 14, 2022. With most the Epcot projects complete, the Epcot Experience is no longer necessary.
The Epcot Experience will close for good on March 14, 2022.
Think about all the projects that are complete (or nearing completion). The France expansion, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Creations Shop, Club Cool, Connections Cafe, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
What will take its place?
The Epcot Experience is located in the Odyssey Pavilion, which located between World Celebration and World Showcase. The entire pavilion will temporarily close after March 14. It will then become available once again to Guests.
It will house special events that take place at Epcot throughout the year. Disney shares, “With the transformation now well under way, and more projects opening in the future like Journey of Water inspired by Moana, and the ongoing evolution of World Celebration, we’re looking forward to finding exciting new ways to activate Odyssey to create an excellent experience for our Guests.”
