Tours are some of the most unique ways to explore Disney World like never before. Whether you are taking a safari tour or going underground the Magic Kingdom, tours provide a unique opportunity to see the parks and resorts like never before.

When the parks reopened in July 2020, tours were not available. However, they are slowly returning as park operations return to normal. These include many of the animal tours found at Animal Kingdom and the Keys to the Kingdom tour at Magic Kingdom.

Now, a tour is returning to Animal Kingdom Lodge!

According to Disney Parks’ Instagram account, the Starlight Safari tour returns just in time for Earth Day!

Just in time for Earth Day, the thrilling Starlight Safari tour at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is now bookable for dates beginning April 22 and beyond!

Climb aboard an open-sided safari vehicle and witness the wild as it comes to life on an after-dark safari tour. Feel the rush of the night air as you rumble through lush scenery, scanning the horizon for over 30 species of African wildlife on this popular, nighttime expedition.

To make the most of your animal-viewing extravaganza, you will be provided with a night vision device! You’ll be astounded by what you can see: zebras, giraffes, wildebeest and antelopes—plus ostriches and over 20 other exotic African species that freely roam across the savannas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The tour runs nightly at two different times and lasts approximately one hour. Guests must be 8 years and older. Starlight Safari tours run $89 per person but does not include tax.
