It is that time of year where the Disneyland Resort is home to its annual Food & Wine Festival which includes plenty of food, beverage, art, and entertainment for the entire family. There is truly something for everyone to enjoy at this guest favorite festival. As stated on the DCA website:

During the festival, your whole family will get to experience local, celebrity and Disney chef demos and delight in a smorgasbord of delicious dishes curated by Disney chefs.

The Food & Wine Festival now runs until April 26, 2022.

When I (Marisol) hear the words, “Food & Wine Festival,” I can easily picture myself eating my way through each booth. How could one not, especially with such a plethora of culinary dishes!

Each year, the Disney culinary team becomes more creative in the dishes they create. One of the more interesting dishes featured this year is the Peanut Butter & Jelly Mac with Brown Sugar Streusel and Strawberry Crackle.

More on this specific dish and booth in a later review!

Strawberry Cheesecake

When I picture a slice of strawberry cheesecake, my mind automatically wanders to a particular restaurant that shares the name of this very dessert! However, Disney’s culinary take on this popular delicacy was transformed into quite the visual artwork on a plate!

This was a delectable and tasty dessert that was both light but rich in cheesecake flavor. The strawberry Jell-O at the top of the dish topped off with the Lemon Chantilly was delicious! It was truly worth the $6.50.

New to this year’s menu at the Berry Patch booth is the Blueberry-Buttermilk Pie. My oldest daughter was very fond of this dessert as she loves eating bowls of blueberries. She really enjoyed the use of both the filling of the buttermilk pie with the tartness of the blueberries. The dessert cost $6.00.

Between the two desserts that are sold at the Berry Patch Booth, I would have to say that my personal favorite was the Strawberry Cheesecake. I would purchase it again. Only one alcoholic cocktail is sold at this booth that is priced at $15.00. Additionally, for $5.50, guests can purchase a green or red grape glow cube charm to be added to any beverage.

Do you think you would prefer to try the Strawberry Cheesecake or the Blueberry-Buttermilk Pie?  Let us know in the comments on Facebook and in our Facebook group.
