Park Hours at Disney World are extended for more dates

It’s Friday, and you know what that means. Park hours updates!

Park Hours

Every week or so the Kenny the Pirate writing team shares the latest theme park hours as Disney releases them. These initial hours are a great way to begin preparing for your trip. However, Disney World extends park hours somewhat regularly.

This is even more exciting because you can plan what to do with all that extra time in the parks! Maybe you want to enjoy a late night dinner reservation, or maybe you want to squeeze a few more rides into your day. Be sure to utilize Character Locator for all your planning!

Whatever the reason is, extended park hours are almost always a welcome change! Here are the latest updates we have to share with you this week. Check out last week’s update HERE.

You may notice that the hours below follow the same pattern as previous weeks. We can likely expect future weeks to also extend hours following this pattern.

Hollywood Studios

For the week of April 4 to April 9, Hollywood’s studios continues extending the earlier opening time (previously 9:00am.) Hollywood Studios will entertain guests from 8:00 am until 9:00pm. This also changes early entry for resort guests to 7:30 am. That is the earliest we have seen yet!

On April 3 only, the park will open at 8:30 am with early entry beginning at 8:00 am.

Epcot

Flower and Garden is in full bloom at EPCOT! EPCOT will now be opening at 8:30 am instead of 10:00 am from April 3 to April 9. As a result, early entry is at 8:00 a.m. Enjoy that extra hour and a half!

The park will still close at 9:00 pm.

Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers guests more time in this park from April 3 to April 9! Previously, hours were 9:00am until 7:00pm. This made it difficult at times to see the Tree of Life transform into the Beacon of Magic.

However, now Disney makes it easier with new park hours of 7:30 am until 8:30 pm! Early entry begins at 7:00 am.

Magic Kingdom

Last, but certainly not least, the best park will be open even longer! Each evening from April 3 April 9, the Magic Kingdom now closes at 11:00 pm instead of 9:00 pm. The exception is April 7, which closes at 10:00 pm now. Opening time remains 9:00 am. Extended Evening Hours will be 11:00 to 1:00 on April 6.
