The 4 Prizes for Spike’s Pollination Exploration, Epcot’s scavenger hunt, have finally arrived. You have got to see all of these!
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
From now until July 5, 2022, Walt Disney World Guests can enjoy the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. At this festival step into brilliant gardens, themed topiaries, a rock concert series, and so much more.
You can check out our complete guide to the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival 2022 HERE. One of my favorite things is how there are activities the whole family can enjoy!
Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration
This year Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration is back! This event is a scavenger hunt for Guests to enjoy as they make their way around World Showcase looking for Spike the Bee.
Scavenger hunt players use a map to help them find Spike the Bee. Those who locate all of the Spikes will win a fun prize! You can see Spike peeking out from behind the Flower the skunk topiary.
To participate, simply purchase a map at participating merchandise locations such as Port of Entry. If you have participated in past hunts, know that the price has increased to $9.99. However, I do think that people will participate even with the price increase when they see the prizes because they are good ones!
The Prizes Are Here!
The 2022 prizes have finally arrived! There was a delay that prevented them from being in the parks for the festival’s opening.
Prior to the shipment of Flower & Garden-themed prizes, Epcot’s shops allowed guests to redeem their completed maps for a substitute prize. They were giving out Frozen plates from a prior event. You can read the full story here.
However, they arrived on day 15, just in time for Spring Break crowds to hit the parks. I hope there are plenty left for those visiting throughout the entire festival.
The official prizes for Spike’s Pollination Exploration at the 2022 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival are snack containers featuring your favorite characters who frequent Flower & Garden. There are four to choose from.
A Closer Look
Here is a closer look at the prizes. They are just too cute!
Orange Bird fans will be delighted to see their favorite citrusy pal gracing the front of one of the boxes. I expect that one will be popular and go quickly.
Spike the Bee, the mascot of the Pollenation Exploration, also makes an appearance. I love the color scheme of his box with the same pattern featured on my favorite piece from the Spike the Bee merch line.
Fan-favorite Figment has a box of his own, which I expect to be wildly popular as well. He is pictured in his gardening gear. Fans will also be delighted to see the print on the box features Space Ship Earth.
Rounding out the group is a Farmer Mickey box. Living with the Land Fans who keep up with Disney news will giggle at the inclusion of cucumber in the print.
I feel the designers picked the perfect characters for this year’s prizes.
I have never been tempted to do any of the various festival hunts for the prizes before. They are typically themed plates or cups that can’t go in the dishwasher. But, I love these boxes.
While this new line of prizes is technically branded as “snack containers,” they can really be used to contain anything! I am hoping to get the Orange Bird one, but part of me also wants all four of them!
