This hotel on Disney property has updated its mask policy

One hotel on Disney property has recently updated its mask policy. Take a look at which one right here.

Face Masks

Disney dropped its mask policy for vaccinated Guests. This means if you are fully vaccinated you do not have to wear a mask indoors or outdoors. There are a few exceptions, however. For one, they must still be worn on Disney transportation. This is a federal mandate by the United States government, so Disney will continue to require face masks on buses and the monorail.

Disney has made some adjustments to this policy, and Guests are no longer required to wear masks on boats or the Skyliner.

Today, the federal mask mandate was extended. You can read more about that extension HERE.

Shades of Green is a resort specifically for our Armed Forces. Current service members, retirees, and select DoD employees are given special access to this hotel. The federal government owns it as an Armed Forces Vacation Club location.

Policy Update

While Shades of Green is a federal building, it appears an exception is being made. The mask policy for this hotel has been updated.

As of today, their website states the following:

Current Mask Policy:

  • Fully Vaccinated Guests are not required to wear masks while indoors.
  • Non-Vaccinated Guests are required to wear masks while indoors.
  • ALL Guests – masks are required while riding the buses.

Fully Vaccinated Guests are not required to wear masks while indoors.

No word has been made on whether or not this policy will change again in light of the recent extension to the federal mask mandate.
