Disney Theme Parks
Disney World and Disneyland theme parks have changed the mask requirements since Disney reopened in July 2020. Due to Covid-19, experiences including dining and character meets have been limited. Disney also set park reservations in place to limit capacity. However, these restrictions have eased up recently, including mask requirements at Disney World.
Recently, Disney announced face coverings were longer be required for fully vaccinated Guests in both indoor and outdoor locations at Disney World. However, they are required on Disney transportation like buses, the monorail, and skyliner. There are still federal mandates for transportation in place, so this is why we still see the transportation rules in effect.
February Statement
Disney released a statement on how this closure affects Hong Kong Disneyland in February 2022. The resort hotels remained open with adjusted level of services. Also, service at restaurants and recreation facilities in hotels will be adjusted according to the latest regulations.
Unused Tickets
If you purchased Disneyland tickets, Disney has given an extension. Unused Park Tickets and or Designated In-Park Products with expiration dates falling within Hong Kong Disneyland’s temporary closure period have been extended.
For hotel bookings with check-in date falling within this period, free cancellations were offered. Magic Access Memberships was also extended.
Opening Date
According to Disney, Hong Kong Disneyland will finally reopen to guests on April 21, 2022. That’s just next week! Will this affect your travel plans?

Restrictions
By law, guests are required to use the “Leave Safe Home” app. Then, you must meet the “Vaccine Pass” requirements before entering the park or Disney property.
