Big news! Character meet and greets are about to get a huge upgrade (in the form of hugs!) and we can’t wait for it! Now, another character meet and greet is returning to Hollywood Studios! Are you looking forward to meeting this beloved character once again?
Character Meet and Greets return to normal
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been waiting a long time to get a hug again from Mickey and my other favorite characters!
Beginning April 18, we will get the opportunity once again!
When the parks reopened in July 2020, none of us truly realized how different the guest experience would be. From masks to social distancing, Disney implemented various health measures for our safety.
Character meet and greets have been hit hard with the pandemic changes, and the return of them has been very slow. Instead of hugging, posing for photos, and getting autographs with our favorite friends, we could only see them in passing. Slowly, Disney brought back outdoor distanced meets followed by indoor distanced meets.
Now, we will be able to meet with our favorite characters, both indoors and outdoors, without mask requirements or social distancing!
Old friends return to the Parks
With the highly anticipated return of traditional character meet and greets, we are also seeing the return of some of our favorite characters to the Parks!
We’ve been so excited to see more and more character meet and greets returning to the Parks! We can meet Olaf in Hollywood Studios, Mickey in Magic Kingdom, Snow White in Epcot, and so many more! We’ll even be seeing Mickey Mouse return to Disney Animal Kingdom again very soon!
He scares because he cares
Beginning Monday, April 18, you can once again meet James P. Sullivan, better known as Sully, from Monsters, Inc. in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Sully will be meeting at Walt Disney Presents, daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Will you be getting a hug from Sully in Disney’s Hollywood Studios soon? Let us know in the comments below, or tell us on Facebook.
