Amazing Extended Park Hours for Disney World this May

Are you planning a trip to Walt Disney World soon? You will not believe how late the parks will be open. Is this a sign of late summer nights in the parks?

Park Hours

Almost every week, the Kenny the Pirate writing team shares the latest theme park hours as Disney releases them. These scheduled hours are a great way to begin preparing for your trip.

This week we are delighted to see that guests can enjoy the parks for even longer this May. Experiencing the Disney Parks at night is truly my favorite experience. There is something truly magical when enjoying Disney attractions at night or enjoying a late-night dining reservation.

Early Entry and Extending Evening Hours

Early Theme Park Entry is a new benefit for all guests staying at Disney resort hotels and select other hotels around Walt Disney World. All guests utilizing this benefit can take advantage of entering the parks 30 minutes before the parks officially open. You can get a full review of why this is such a great benefit HERE. This benefit includes all Disney Resorts and a few additional resorts. Get a full list of participating resorts and available attractions HERE.

Guests staying at select resorts can also take advantage of Extended Evening Hours. These additional hours allow Guests to enjoy both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT even later with limited lines. Recently, Extended Evening Hours were available for the first time in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We hope this park will be adding Extended Evening Hours for the summer months.

Newly Extended Hours

Previously we shared that Walt Disney World had extended hours into the summer months. We are now delighted to announce that these hours have been extended once again. Disney Resort Guests have the added benefit of enjoying these parks 30 minutes earlier than the official park opening time.

Magic Kingdom

May 1 9:00am – 10:00pm
May 2 9:00am – 11:00pm
May 3 9:00am – 4:30pm
May 4-7 9:00am – 11:00pm
May 8-14 9:00am until 11:00pm (previously 9:00am – 9:00pm)
May 15 9:00am – 4:30pm
May 16-31 9:00am – 10:00pm
June 1-25 9:00am-10:00pm
