We love seeing the parks come back to life with characters. Now, they are returning to a favorite Disney World show!
Characters return
Now that non-distanced meets are back at Disney World, characters are popping up all over the place! Not only do we see them in their dedicated meeting spots, but they also entertain Guests on the Festival of Fantasy parade and during the stage shows that take place throughout the day.
We especially love that we can hug our favorite characters again at character meals. They now feel like they have regained the value that was lost during the initial reopening phase.
Characters are even popping back in for other entertainment.
Frontierland Hoedown
The Frontierland Hoedown is a guest-favorite show in Frontierland. If you’ve never experienced the show, let me break it down for you!
Disney characters and Cast Member performers dance in the street of Frontierland. Favorite include the Country Bears, Br’er Bear, Br’er Rabbit, and more!
Over by Country Bear Jamboree and Pecos Bill, you may find yourself happening upon a surprise performance! These shows are random and not announced ahead of time, so keep your eyes and ears open when you are in the area.
Previously, the show encouraged Guest participation. Young ones could join the characters and performers in dancing and singing. The show returned to Magic Kingdom with health and safety precautions in mind. This meant no characters and no guest participation.
Character interactions are back
However, the Frontierland Hoedown is back to its original format! Not only are the fun characters back in the performance, but Guests are encouraged to participate and interact with the performers.
These little random moments of fun are what make Disney World so magical and create those lifelong memories to cherish. We are so happy they are back!
Characters and character interactions are back at the Frontierland Hoedown.
