At Walt Disney World, Guests can enjoy a fun overlay of a favorite attraction for a very limited time. You will not want to miss it!
Flower and Garden Festival
This year, the Flower and Garden festival takes place from March 2 through July 4. Gardeners will marvel at thousands of blooms forming colorful, living panoramas all around EPCOT. Be sure to check out the amazing topiaries HERE, find out about the fun scavenger hunt, take a journey down the new Flower and Garden Festival Blossoms of Fragrance area, and enjoy the beautiful new light display.
Fresh flavors are on the menu at the festival’s 18 Outdoor Kitchens as well as other food and beverage locations around EPCOT. They will offer a fresh selection of springtime fruits, vegetables, desserts and more. You can check out the means for each kitchen HERE.
Attraction Overlay
Want to enjoy the Flower and Garden Festival indoors? Guests can enjoy the beauty of the Flower and Garden Festival while they journey through the Living with the Land attraction. This attraction has seen a few small overlays inspired by the various EPCOT festivals, and this festival is no exception.
Living with the Land is a great educational attraction that allows guests to learn about the various growing techniques of plants, vegetables, and even fish. There is truly an explosion of color during Living with the Land with this festival overlay. There are stunning flowers throughout this attraction.
My (Donna) favorite was the Mickey Mouse topiary constructed from succulents. Guests can also see a small nod to one of the outdoor kitchens that offers Violet Lemonade with this clever tablescape.
Pretty Enough to Eat
Not only can guests learn of the various growing methods while on Living with the Land, but you can also taste many of these items including flowers and vegetables. After we enjoyed Living with the Land, fellow writer Monica and I (Donna) tried the frozen Violet Lemonade at Pineapple Promenade.

We loved that it was served with an edible flower from the Living with the Land attraction, but that was where the love stopped for this frozen beverage. Read the full review HERE.
While journeying throughout Living with the Land, other signs were present for both vegetables and flowers that Guests could consume while at the Flower and Garden Festival. This is such a fun way to enjoy the Flower and Garden Festival with all of your senses.
