Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond
Disney is revamping the beloved “Finding Nemo-The Musical!” We learned back in September that the show, which has not yet returned since the Parks closed in 2020, would be undergoing some BIG changes!
From Disney Parks Blog,
“Finding Nemo — The Musical” has been delighting our guests since 2007, and I’m excited to tell you a reimagined show, based on the same beloved characters, will debut in 2022.
Although our Disney Live Entertainment team is still in the early stages of development for the show, the musical retelling of this underwater tale of family, friendship and kindness will feature new story material, as well as fan favorite songs such as “In the Big Blue World” and “Go with the Flow.”
This newly reimagined show will be called Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond. We already know we will be put in the story of Finding Dory and hear the same amazing songs, watch the amazing puppetry, and more of what we love about the original show. We also know we will see many characters from the film that we know and love, like Crush, Dory, and of course, Nemo.
Now, we have even more info on the storyline for this exciting new show!
If you’re wondering what happened to the sea creatures from the tank in P. Sherman’s office on 42 Wallaby Way, you’re definitely going to want to check out this show!
When we last saw them, they were floating on top of the “big blue world” in bags after they escaped! Scott Gustin shares Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond picks up after Finding Dory and is told through the eyes of the “Tank Gang.”
This is no doubt going to be one outstanding show!
